About MEC

The Middle European Cup (MEC) is international competition of teams in Western Riding. The basic meaning of MEC is publicity of Western Riding in the organising country and competing of the best racers among the categories of youth and adults, in the variety of disciplines.

Every year its held in one of the participating countries - Czech Republic, Slovak Republik, Hungary, Poland and Austria.

Disciplines

Class YOUTH - riders age 10-18: Reining, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Trail, Barrel Race, Pole Bending.

Class ADULT - riders age 18 and more: Reining Junior, Reining Senior, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Trail, Barrel Race, Pole Bending, Western Riding, Superhorse.

Class OPEN - riders age 10 and more: Cutting, Team Penning, Cattle Penning, Ranch Sorting.

 

Fees

Stabling

75 EURO for min. 3 days

Class ADULT and OPEN except Reining Senior

35 EURO for rider/horse

Reining Senior

50 EURO for rider/horse

Class YOUTH

17,50 EURO for rider/horse

Office Fee

5 EURO

Cattle Fee

50 EURO (for team in Team Penning and Ranch Sorting; for rider/horse in Cutting and Cattle Penning)
